Wow, Schumacher managed to go from grid 5 to  1st place by the 1st corner. Amazing.

Best bit was Martin Brundles interview with Bernie :D:D:D

Poor crowd. Fancy  paying what they will have done to see that! At least we can walk away from the TV (again). :(:(

They should be given there money back, might stop them from causing an accident by throwing stuff onto the track. And calm things down a bit...

DULL DULL DULL!!! :(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(

Simply shameful - how the people involved in the multi billion dollar sport couldn't come to an agreement to install a chicane to enable every team to participate is truly staggering. Just goes to show what little regard they have for the fans and sponsors who provide the money to allow these guys to 'race'. Hopefully many of the fans and sponsors will vote with their feet like me and not bother with the 'sport' in the future.

I feel sorry for Martin Brundle and James Allen having to commentate on this nonsense, ITV should of pulled the plug and shown a film.

Richard.

Disgraceful. Two dangler ups. The first is obviouly Michelin's. They failed to produce a tyre that was suitable for the track. The second mistake, is the failure of the FIA to deal with the first mistake. This second error is the one that is truly deplorable. So the FIA do not come out of this well. They do not, however, come out of this worst.

That honour goes to Ferrari. As soon as they saw the chance of getting 18 points for free, they were never going to agree to anything that would resolve this matter. So driven by their usual short-term, unenlightened, self-interest, and in complete disgregard for the image of the sport, or for the fans who have paid to watch a race, they pursued their short-term interest. They are a disgrace to the sport.

Could have shown Grand Prix,  :)  Great film and much better than this meaningless rubbish. Ferrari are even fighting themselves??? duh! ???:angry::(

Could believe what I saw. The Jordan bloke seemed pretty pleased with is first ever podium finish - not that much of an achievement with only six cars starting the race.

John.

BTW. How lucky is Schumacher (Michael). Doesn't seem to matter haw bad his season starts something always happens to get him back in the leading pack.

And despite only 6 cars, Schumacher still had to push his team mate off. :(

I have given up watching it last year, but started again as it got a bit more interesting this year. Now it's just descended into farse.

Time for a big and long overdue change at the top, kick the FIA out and get someone with some brains running it. :D:D:D

Anyone fancy a job, there's more sense talked on here than at F1 :D:p:D

Apparantly Michelin told the FIA of the tyre problem caused by the new surface on Thursday/early Friday - they suggested they fly in a new set of tyres but the FIA said no.   :bangshead:   What kind of morons wouldn't allow that ?
