BTW, I'm really bored, I'm doing intrastat Conversion work: Remove edging crap & clean / wipe over to remove UHU - bag up 0.50 Remove horns 0.25 Remove nose cone & mesh & mark position for wire run loops 0.50 Remove battery 0.25 Remove plastic covering to brake pipes 0.25 Remove passenger seat & sabelts / drill holes for water clearance in race seat - DO NOT FIT RACE SABELT!!!! 0.50 Remove interior panels - cover holes with tank tape temp 1.00 Remove extra dash panel & cover panels & rear veiw mirror 0.50 Remove road fuel tank - drain by removing filler tube 1.00 Remove steering column 0.50 remove fog & reverse & no. plate lights 0.50 Remove gearbox / engine 3.00 Produce ali brackets and Dzus body sides lower / slide Dzus tops with cut out in bonnet 3.50 Cut body sides in engine area - cut exhaust downwards 100% & dzus both FIRST!!! 1.50 Temp remove drivers side wheel arch 0.50 Body to chassis cover for foam on drivers side only - use cardboard templates 2.00 2 pack foam 2.00 Re-fit drivers side wheel arch 0.50 fit race sabelt 0.50 Fit SCCR gearbox / engine 4.00 Dzus bonnet - standard Dzus 3.00 Nose cone & bonnet - drill louvres 5.00 clearance in bonnet for filters! 2.00 Replace nose cone pod indicators & glue / glass wire runs (see spare nosecone) 2.00 Scuttle quick release 2.00 Aeroscreen - see thru part - remove mirrors & bolt down 1.00 Slide dzus dash - Plus make cut out for aeroscreen wrap round! 2.00 Re-fit roll cage 1.50 Fir wing mirror & rear view mirror 1.00 Fit FIA kill switch on dash & driver pull cord 1.00 Switch oil warning light - LARGE! 1.00 Fit starter button and ign live switches 1.00 Re-fit battery & box in race position 1.00 Drill small holes beneath pedals for small stone clearance! 0.50 Fit non SVA bias pedal 1.00 Grip tape in drivers footwell & pedals 0.50 Re-fit race fuel tank 1.50 Fit fuel pipe through centre of car plus bulkhead fittings 1.00 Re-fit race column 1.00 Fit extinguisher 1.00 Take fog light feed and use for LED competition light on rollbar 1.00 Fit high level brake light - take feed from rear NS light 1.50 Fit lead - prep diff weights(in sheets of 2kg maybe with bolt holes) and bolt by seat 1.00 Fit transponder www.mstworld.co.uk 1/2amp fuse or lower! 1.00 Fit decals - get applying sticky paper from sign place in Cheyney Manor 3.00 Paint nuts with white line 1.00 R-clip / Alter boot cover to suit belts 1.00 Redo brake pipe work on 3.89 axle & renew breather 2.00 Move Speedo to front wheel n/s 2.00 15cm radius ali plate 2mm thick and bracket + DS Polystyrene block and tank tape for head restraint - put bolts thru with large nylocs then attach bracket with plain bolt and sprung washer! 1.00 Alter accelerator pedal for bias adjuster 2.00 Fit brake pedal bias adjuster 1.00 Track developments for suspension set up 0.00 Full day For race purposes rolling road - MAX SIZE - 36mm ID chokes @ Aldon plus increase rev limiter! 0.00 Full day TOTAL 70.75 Other: (If I have time - ha - or is required) Steering wheel spacer Electric water pump Repackable silencer redo wiring loom and rip out extraneous rose joint panhard rod & trailing arms dry sump ∨ cooler rebuild spare engine flat floor / digital scales for set up seals on spare callipers & paint Ta Geoff Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
