OK guys and girls it's less than 2 weeks away :D I've prepared a route, comments welcome. On the route there is two obvious meeting points:

1. the Horton Arms - I was thinking 10.30 meet, leave 10.45am.

2. Little Chef/MacDs near Haslingdon, meet 11.30 leave 11.45

Neil Willis and crew may well meet up with us at one of these two places.

The rest of the route below - comments about times and route welcome

Ø 10.30am meet Horton Arms (meeting Place 1)

Ø Take M62 to Junction 18 exit

Ø Take M66 to end and go straight on at Roundabout (Follow signs for M65)

Ø At junction for A682 take left spur and pull into Little Chef (meet with rest of group)

Ø 11.30am – meet Little Chef near Haslingden (meeting place 2)

Ø 11.30am depart Little Chef taking A682 and follow to M65

Ø At M65 take east bound carriageway sign posted Burnley and exit at Junction 13

Ø At roundabout follow signs for Kendal taking A682

Ø Follow A682 through various small towns following signs for Kendal

Ø Pick up A65 at Long Preston and follow all the way to Kirby Lonsdale

Ø At Kirby Lonsdale pull into biker place at the river for Bacon butties and mugs of tea and coffee

Ø Depart Kirby Lonsdale on A65 heading for Kendal

Ø At junction of M6 go straight on exiting on A590 to Levens

Ø At Levens take left turn but still on A590 signposted Newby Bridge

Ø At Newby Bridge continue straight on at roundabout still A590

Ø Turn Right onto A5092 towards Broughton-In-Furness and pick up A595 towards Ravenglass

Ø Follow A595 all the way to Egremont and the Black Beck is on right side of road

Please note Simon has asked that we don't arrive before 3pm

Cheers

Paul

Meeting at 10:30 for a 10:45 start only allows 15 minutes, and you know I am always 10-15 minutes late  :D  :D

Otherwise looks good to me.

Looks great to me. I'll be at the Horton Arms fully fuelled and ready to go.

Make sure you're ALL fully fuelled before we leave the Pub

It's the only way we can get Marcus to stop :D

The conversation on Friday nights going to be riveting now,

"What group are you in"?

"Group 2"

"What group are you in"?

"Group 1"

"Oh, I now somebody in group 1"

"fancy a beer then"?

"Na, Group 1 will have get up earlier than group 2"

"OK I'll find someone in group 3 to have a beer with"

"Right anyone in group 3"..........................

:D
