Hi andy

Hows the rebuild going?

Ive seen quite a few with paddle shift's, stuart taylor race cars use a system devoleped with techtronics called a trick shift that does clutchless down shifts as well as upshifts !

Hope to see you in may at llandow.

hi Andy,

interesting point, ive got our paddleshift fitted to my car,but it is essentially a mechanical linkage, are you talking about something like the Proshift (solonoid, buton operated) device ?

thanks guys, stubbow, westfield have the car as I'm getting it fixed on an insurance job, not sure if I wll have it back in time for Llandow, getting back to the question in hand, its the electonic gearchange I'm interested in like klicktronic who do a system  for £500 with either paddle or button operated on steering wheel, not sure if MSA allow these systems in the regulations as I think it states it has to be standard equipment on production car, anybody know otherwise?
