Triggsy Posted March 9, 2005 Posted March 9, 2005 Yep he does the lot, Emerald. MBE and DTA.... not a big fan of megasquirts though Not suprised at that, with megasquirt and a wide band you don't need to go near a rolling road Quote

Im pretty sure a RR session could fine tune the maps. Quote
Triggsy Posted March 9, 2005 Posted March 9, 2005 Yeah, you're probably right. Great fun though driving around and scaring the wildlife Quote
YouMustBeJoking Posted March 9, 2005 Posted March 9, 2005 I think the Green line is power at the wheels, but the rollers are setup to calculate power at the fly Surely the rollers measure power (or torque) at the wheels. How do they calculate power at the flywheel, or is it just made up. Falling power at the wheels whilst still rising at the flywheel doesn't sound right to me. Quote

Falling power at the wheels whilst still rising at the flywheel doesn't sound right to me. I did try and explain it earlier but prob doesnt make sense. The rollers are calibrated to calculate the power at the fly, when the rollers are installed I guess it must be setup for one or the other. Im sure someone on here will give a proper explaination. YouMustBeJoking Posted March 9, 2005 Posted March 9, 2005 Some info here... So made up then... I suppose it doesn't really matter what figures are quoted by the RR. It's how the car feels that's important. You would seem to have more than adequate power for a road car. Quote
