KerryS
Why do WF supply the spacers to raise the headlights? The SVA manual I have says lights have to be 500mm minimum above road level and mine are 530mm+ without the spacers and with the ride height set to WF dimensions of 146mm. I know the beams need aligning but they are roughly right ATM. Is it to do with the edge radius thing? Kerry S
predawson
Without spacers my cycle wings hit the headlamps on full lock. Don't know if that is the only reason though.
smithydar
i actually spoke to westfield on friday about this..they said for different ride heights you may need the spacers.to conform to sva regs..£1.64 each.i got them anyway just to be sure..if they look crap after the sva test i can allways take them off. i also got the sva light cover thingys but cant see how they fit.. darren
pinto pete
didn't use spacers on mine and it was fine. they didn't touch the wings at all.
KerryS
i also got the sva light cover thingys but cant see how they fit I think they fit at the rear of the light mounting but this presents a non-conforming radius to the front that needs covering as well! This was reported by a recent SVA pass thread (Swiftr) didn't use spacers on mine and it was fine.they didn't touch the wings at all. I'll check this too. Thanks for feed-back Kerry S
