Headlights

Why do WF supply the spacers to raise the headlights? The SVA manual I have says lights have to be 500mm minimum above road level and mine are 530mm+ without the spacers and with the ride height set to WF dimensions of 146mm. I know the beams need aligning but they are roughly right ATM.

Is it to do with the edge radius thing?

i actually spoke to westfield on friday about this..they said for different ride heights you may need the spacers.to conform to sva regs..£1.64 each.i got them anyway just to be sure..if they look crap after the sva test i can allways take them off.

i also got the sva light cover thingys but cant see how they fit..

I think they fit at the rear of the light mounting but this presents a non-conforming radius to the front that needs covering as well!

This was reported by a recent SVA pass thread (Swiftr)

didn't use spacers on mine and it was fine.

they didn't touch the wings at all.

I'll check this too.

Thanks for feed-back
