O/T Fog Rear Lights

Man On The Clapham Omnibus

Recommended Posts

The other thing I hate is people sitting at traffic lights with their foot on the brake

bit difficult not to if it's an automatic  :t-up:

Er not really. There is usually a stick thing between the seats, and when it is moved to 'N' stops the car creeping forward. When the traffic lights turn to green, merely put stick thing back into 'D' again and gently depress accelerator.

OK, so this is almost as much work as driving a manual... :D

:sheep: Folk will be using handbrakes in automatics next.... :p

The handbrake works works pretty well too.... You don't have to pop it out of 'D' either.

My Volvo auto is set up to disengage the drive when stationary with the foot brake pressed. This saves fuel and wear and tear on the transmission!, and stops the creep.

So the footbrake actually puts the car into neutral "automatically" Still keeps the three rear brake lights on though...
