westy
Its not often I recommend s/w (spend too long fixing it all day). But, I have been using the google toolbar for 6 months and recently they have added an advert blocker to it. Its now an official must have for browsers as far as I am concerned. http://www.google.co.uk/options/ Westy PS - I tried to get a commision for this post but they said no! PSS - it works best if you set the engine to open in a new window with google.co.uk as the default search engine for it. Plus dont worry about the advanced option it still gives all the functionality that you need.

Lins
Alternativly - change browsers - I've been using Mozilla Firebird for the last 6 months or so, it's fantatic - it does'nt have integrated email - so no-one is scraping your email address from your surfing. It allows you to turn off sites automatically popping extra windows up (infact if memory serves I have mine setup so that they can only pop up things on the same web site). There's very few vunerabilities with it..... If you have the bandwidth to download it - I would certainly recommend it. http://www.mozilla.org/products/firebird/ and best of all - It's free
