Mulford
Hi all Couple of things already ticked off my list: 1. Bought a Megablade 2. Became a member 3. Found money to upgrade some bits! At the moment the car's got the standard SVA steering wheel on it but was looking to change it. Any-one got any opinions on what size to go for?? The one I want is 260mm but not sure if it's going to be too small.

wezzy_jess
10" is too small, makes it like a go-kart, 12" is way too big makes your arms stick outa car too much 11" is purfect just right
starter
260mm is just right IMHO. My personal view is go for suede as well- tried a leather one for a few weeks but just too slippy-especially when wet. MikeW

Messer
Im in the same boat here, wanting a new wheel and was thinking about the 260mm flat bottom Momo one in demon thieves catalogue.. Think its about £82 or thereabouts. Are flat bottom ones ok for everday running on a standard rack?
jbryan26
I have a 260mm flat bottomed wheel with a standard rack - If I had the money knocking about, I'd replace it with a 260mm round one......
Mulford
Thanks for every-one's comments. Was looking at the Sparco flat bottom 260mm version but might switch it to the Sparco 285mm round one.
Messer
Out of interest what size is the standard westfield SVA compliant one? I have that in my car but its at home in the garage!
Mulford
One on my car is 12".
ChrisF
might switch it to the Sparco 285mm round one Very nice wheel IMHO...it's the one I wanted before I ended up with a momo. FWIW I can just about read my tacho with a 280mm wheel...I bet a 260mm wheel obstructs the your view..of course this depends on the dash layout
