thos
http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/news/ae_news_story.php?id=52666 End of an era at Ford, number one: after 13 years in production, the last Zetec engine has rolled off the line at the Bridgend plant in Wales. A total of 3.5 million were made, and appeared in the Fiesta, Escort, Focus and Mondeo. Workers will now build the Zetec SE.
GWatson
That's great news... I spoke to Burton and asked when they'll be doing an alloy bottom end for a Zetec like they do for the X Flow and BDA. Their response was not until it goes out of production. Â Â Â Maybe the zetec will be as light as a Duratec some day, yes I know not the same potential power before this kicks off another argument, but for road use 210bhp will be more than enough for me...
