Steve20
Haynes manual for Sierra states that a Ford spec adhesive ESK-M46275-A should be used between the gaitor (metal plate) and the lobro joint. Is this necessary? Any comments/advice please.
Eccentric_Rich
I used a smear of Blue Hylomar (a non-setting sealant) on my Lobros. You do need a sealant to keep the grease in the joint. Richard.
scruffythefirst
My sierra manual says no sealant between the stub axle and the lobro.
Mat Jackson
I held my gaitors in place with a cable tie on each cuff. With enough grease in there the water will be kept out. Mat
