markcoopers Posted December 12, 2004 Posted December 12, 2004 Went to Courbourgh this year, managed to get quite a bit in the car. Two tents Sleeping bag Roll mat Rucksack Cool box Fold up chair 2x slab of beer Me pack of rizzlas' Chaz managed a bigger tent + cooking stuf in a Narrow car. And I think there was a guy in the Mag, who managed to get a fold up reclining chair and BBQ with leggs in as well. Actually there's a thought, what is the maximum you can get in a westfield? Quote
pistonbroke Posted December 12, 2004 Posted December 12, 2004 Actually there's a thought, what is the maximum you can get in a westfield new competition coming up ? maximum would depend on hieght / weight restrictions, I think there are laws on visibility too Quote

7SE Posted December 15, 2004 Posted December 15, 2004 John's call of the caterham hood bag is a good one, you can get loads of stuff in. You can even fit two on the roll bar, very versatile and completely removable when not in use. Contact Oxted Trimming, they make them, or a Caterham dealer like Redline Components (Google is your friend). IIRC Oxted do a generic '7' logo'd one which is cheaper than the one with the CateringVan logo on. Quote

Rob Navin Posted December 15, 2004 Posted December 15, 2004 Your quite correct. In fact I'm still sat in the garrge with the lap top.. I've been here since the last track day I did in September HELP ! Quote
David Alexander Posted December 15, 2004 Author Posted December 15, 2004 Contact Oxted Trimming, they make them, or a Caterham dealer like Redline Components (Google is your friend). I contacted Oxted but they will not sell to public, only to Caterham?! Caterham sell hood bag for £38 plus VAT. The best racks I have seen are Paul Ashwick's. I have pics if you want to PM. Unless that is someone tells me how to attach photo's to these posts. David A Quote
Stuart Posted December 15, 2004 Posted December 15, 2004 I bought a hood bag from Westfield last year for a tenner. Not as fancy as the Caterham item but straps to the roll bar OK. Quote
