windy Posted December 3, 2004 Share Posted December 3, 2004 Dear all, For those of you that might be interested in some driver training vouchers for your family & fellow petrol heads as a Christmas present we are offering a driving course where I work, Millbrook Proving Ground, run in association with the Beds Police Partnership trust. All proceeds from the course go to a charitable organisation. The course is aimed at both inexperienced & experienced drivers & consists of classroom sessions of hazard awareness followed by instruction in a skid car, a Vauxhall Omega, using the proving ground test tracks. Ex traffic police officer Andy Wesley is providing the instruction in small groups of 3. The course lasts about 1/2 a day Cost of the course is £25. Bookings are being taken now for courses in the new year. If you are interested drop me a pm & I'll forward contact details, phone number to book etc. Note: I've got special permission from work to offer this to people on here as it is normally only given to staff as part of their driver training. Spoken to Andy Wesley today & he will take bookings individually then sort us into WSCC groups if there is enough interest. He usually takes only 3 people at a time and to get the most from the course & maximise time in the car it is probably best for you all to approach him individually.
