mpett Posted November 24, 2004 Share Posted November 24, 2004 I seem to remember when the SDV was first reported in one of the Kit Car magazines, that the original indicator stawks for the Sierra were used to replace the dash mounted switch. Did this ever see the light of day?? Anyone done this on their car? It just seems to logical and will avoid the problem of leaving your indicators on for miles and miles!! I drove the original (blue) SDV demonstrator, which is the one that was featured in which kit etc.. and that had an indicator switch as opposed to stalk. I'm also going to design a mechanism which allows the rear view mirror to be moved up and out of the way, so you don't get neck ache by looking under it all the time! Mount it on top of the scuttle at the base of the screen.
