nefarious_
Hi guys, I'm just about to take the plunge and buy a SEight. I'm going to see it tommorow near Reading, car sounds great on spec, but I'd like to get it inspected by someone who knows a bit more about such things, does anyone know a decent specialist in the rough area? Cheers in advance for your help.... n

DickieB
Don't know anything about V8s, but know a fair amount about Westies. I'm in Uxbridge and as long as you don't want me to drive in the rush hour, I can make Reading easily... Send me a PM or email if you wish. DickieB
Well really! And I've been working so hard on my techno-babble. Perhaps I should leave all this spannering behind me, and just concentrate on driving.
Blatman
And how would that be any different from now?
Mark Stanton
I think Magnum and Blats are just being cruel to young Dickie I'll leave my mobile on - I could do with a laff and cheering up whilst working in this current hot steaming dump
DickieB
Well unsurprisingly after my wonderful write up by my friends he never called. My expertise or lack of was not tested, so your mobiles are safe, you may turn them back on again.
Mark Stanton
I'm sure your kind offer was very much appreciated by Mr Nefarious Long way from a "Leatherman" innit Dinner will be served at 7.30p.m Tea with one sugar and ketchup on bacon butty in the morning

Mark Stanton
Don't worry Blats - I think I've sussed it - Dickie only has breakdowns when he's on his own at race meetings Half the Midlands contingent of SS drivers were at mallory on Sunday and not a misfire or anything He never even crashed All we had to do was swap to wet tyres
DickieB
And with hindsight I reckon I should have stayed on the dry ones. Oh well, that's motorsport!
