davecp Posted August 11, 2003 Share Posted August 11, 2003 I have just built a westy SDV & have managed to overcome all major problems, but i'm having trouble with the speedo & rev counter lights. stu999 Posted August 11, 2003 Share Posted August 11, 2003 IIRC the Smiths tacho/speedo is part of the multi plug wiring for the relevant units. You need to find the wire for illumination (look in the instructions that come with the clocks) and connect to the illumination wire in the Westfield loom (wiring diagram in the manual should help, confirm with a test lamp or multimeter).
