Carl Posted August 10, 2003 Share Posted August 10, 2003 About to buy a helmet and want it to comply with the appropriate regs for Speed Series, Hillclimbs, etc. All the helmets in the local bike shop are marked EC13 which apparently covers all helmet regs. The ECE badging is not YET considered applicable by the MSA Although fine for m/ bike racing! My HJC LID was ECE marked when I bought it. I negotiated with my suppllying dealer (Riossi Mbike dealer) who had the lid stickered/ registered with the bs 6658 mark. So now my lids good even when the MSA get themselves up to date. bs 6658 type a stickered lids are becoming v hard to find (unless you limit yourself to places like demon thieves etc) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
