Thrustyjust Posted November 4, 2004 Share Posted November 4, 2004 the difference is.....5.....ahum mm's in inner diameter.It all depends on what other mods you are going to be doing.If you are going mild,say a 285 piper cam and a ported and slightly larger valves,then the 40's will be fine.If you start heading to spending big money and looking at 150bhp upwards then the 45mm's wouyld be a better bet. Mark Stanton Posted November 4, 2004 Share Posted November 4, 2004 Go for 45's You can tweak em to suit for a lower powered spec car and once you want to upgrade to more BHP the 45's have enough left in em for more fettling.
