Eddy5
Westfield have supplied us with steel brake pipes, however I'm concerned that these will eventually corrode as they have done on other road cars I've had. I was thinking we should get copper pipes instead. Has anyone else done this?
DanB
Are you sure they're steel and not Kunifer (copper alloy). I'd be very surprised if they're actually steel as steel pipes are a real b******* to bend.
deano.1
You need to be carefull of sva requirements! I dont think the W/F ones are steel either!
JAG
Steel pipes; tough as old boots but do corrode eventually. Copper pipes; never corrode but need to be supported every 4" (100mm) because they 'fatigue' and crack if allowed to vibrate/shake. Kunifer; best of both worlds???? CedricTheBrave
I always thought the WF ones were steel. I fitted the copper alloy ones on my second car and will also do so on the third
