At least my NHS employee money making efforts are legal....and encouraged :D

Pay rate £11.75 an hour/ 37.5 hr week......book a weeks holiday....get overtime on own unit looking after same patients....£20 an hour.

Are nhs managers stoooopid......errrr yes :arse:

Why not just pay me £20 /hr all the time

As for stress/ sick situation....she needs a good slap and a P45.....

i det she drives in the middle lane of the motorway all the time  ???

I Cannot really belive this! She may well have got a sick note for six months for stress ( for which her gp should be slapped) but I guess she will be working for an agency doing the same job but not the same place. Unless at her hospital there is a culture of this nature, other decent staff would not accept it as being right no more than we do. If it is true give me the details and I will report it.

I would also be very concerned at my wifes choice of freinds.

i got an update on this last night.

Because her sick leave is stress related, returning to work is considered to be therapeutic. She is doing her own job, is not on agency, did not have to apply for the temporarily vacant post, just turns up for work and gets paid 2½ times her salary.

i have to add that i have now lost total respect for someone i liked. its a sickner

Get yerself down to a chemist; buy some senna tablets....crush a good handful....add it to her coffee next time she's around.....send her home.....sit back and laugh heartily to yourselves.

She might never visit you again :p  :arse:  :arse:  :D

sorry, but i might just say something controversial here.

But, whats wrong?  Why is this woman a demon.  She has been signed of for 6 months because her doctor considers her ill.  Without knowing the facts who are we to question her illness?  Her doctor has suggested going back into work will help her, and hopefully it does.  Okay the pay situation is a bit of anomaly and should really be corrected, but I suspect that is more a function of the huge beaucracy that is the NHS rather than her greed.

I wish the woman well and hope she gets better soon.

Oioi, that was what I was thinking, but couldnt bring meself to post... :D

The problem isnt what the woman is doing, it is the system allowing it to happen in the first place! If she can get away with it, good luck to her... ;)
