GWatson
Got my replacement bonnet now, rather than chucking the old one out anyone got any ideas of what I can use it for? I can think of two things? 1- Make a colour coded fibreglass handbrank and gearshift frame 2- Surround for instrument dials. G

Scottish Bloke
Advertise it. There's always someone who forgets to do all the catches up. I saw someone nearly end up wearing one as a helmet on the way to Stoneleigh when someone elses flew off at
GWatson
Scottish Bloke, that's why a got a new one, I am one of the many who forgot to do the catches up It's still in one piece with a few chunks taken out and scrathes. Blatman, I did actually think of a diffusers, or at least a panel to smooth the air out but not sure how well it would work. G

G Well it will do a little bit for the aero, but it'll do a lot to keep the rear end clean...

GWatson
Joking apart, I though I may keep it for track days etc, unless anyone could come up with some good ideas, but obviously not G
thos
I was nearly gonna have a spare bonnet, and the only thing I could thing of using it for, was for cutting a hole for my air filter in, and then use this to make a template for my 'good' bonnet. In the end I got my original bonnet sprayed, and it looks fine.
