Finding meself on my own this very Sunday, as er indoors was a bit "Off colour" the Taffmobile and I (plus Gus the Gorilla ) ventured out.

First stop Curborough, some big hitters there, sprinting on a damp track. First car to go off was a Audi Quattro! :D  :D  :D

Coffee and Bacon sarnie.

Next stop Catton Hall Autotest, loadsa fun, great atmosphere a good family day out! saw a Westy competing, driven by Malcolm from Kiddeminster.

Coffee.

Next stop, "The Mucky Duck" at Fradley junction, pint of Pedigrie and chat to Tracy working behind the bar.  :D

Next stop, rescued damsel in distress who had put her BMW 7 series into a ditch :D

Next stop, home to wash the mud of the Taffmobile, enjoy a roast dinner and watch Speed Sunday on the box :D  :D  :D

bl**** Perfec! :D  :D

Or maybe going to Hednesford Hills raceway, and watching 120+ pre 1968 bangers destroy each other until there is only one left moving?

Cars including:

Austin A90's,

Daimler DS420 Limo's,

Jag Mk2/Mk10's,

Vauxhall HA's,

Austin Metropolitan,

Hillman Minx,

1939 Rover 12,

Vauxhall Victor 101,

Simca 1500,

Austin A30's,

Ford Cortina Mk2's,

Rover P4/P5's

etc, etc, etc.

Kinda sad to see some of these cars meet their end in such a way, but at leat they went out with a bang (groan), and I suppose it makes the ones that are left even rarer... :t-up:
