Recommended Posts

Hi,

I am running a 2.0 Pinto ohc with a mechanical fuel pump in a Formula 27 apologies for not being a wesy owner!!!. I am in the middle of replacing the fuel tank, lines, sender etc. I am going to replace the mechanical pump with an electric one. What is the best way to go about his as I will have to decomission the mechnical one.

cheers

Simon

This is a guess, could there be a blanking plate to fit in place of the mech pump.  ???  Fuel injected pintos surely don't use a mechanical pump, so they must have something in it's place. :t-up:

Hiya mate

Try looking here...

There are sometimes blanking plates on eBay if you decide to go that route.

just use the gasket under the fuel pump as a stencil and make up a piece of steel the same.Go scrounging round a metal fabricators scrap skip.
