simon F27
Hi, I am running a 2.0 Pinto ohc with a mechanical fuel pump in a Formula 27 apologies for not being a wesy owner!!!. I am in the middle of replacing the fuel tank, lines, sender etc. I am going to replace the mechanical pump with an electric one. What is the best way to go about his as I will have to decomission the mechnical one. cheers Simon
Andrew
This is a guess, could there be a blanking plate to fit in place of the mech pump. Fuel injected pintos surely don't use a mechanical pump, so they must have something in it's place.
cidersurfer
Hiya mate Try looking here... There are sometimes blanking plates on eBay if you decide to go that route. Chris
Thrustyjust
just use the gasket under the fuel pump as a stencil and make up a piece of steel the same.Go scrounging round a metal fabricators scrap skip.
