RICHARD+PHILIP Posted September 30, 2004 Posted September 30, 2004 OK So I know it's well ver 20K But that new Audi A8 6.0 That's being advertised at the momment sounds a hoot! Quote
Karl Woolf Posted September 30, 2004 Posted September 30, 2004 Don`t know about the image, ISTR didn`t Mitsibushi do an 4WD estated based on evo running gear, not sure but think it was a V6 turbo. A proper Q car with japanese build quality Quote
Rob Navin Posted September 30, 2004 Posted September 30, 2004 It was the Gallant estate with the fast bits bolted on. Fast estate it is but it does look like a hurse on steroids What about the MG Z-TT V8 rear wheel drive. Rover dealers seem to be giving nearly new cars away at the moment ? Quote
cidersurfer Posted September 30, 2004 Posted September 30, 2004 Must be under £20k, around £15k would be nice er, Cidersurfer, aren't you forgetting something Err! Apologies. Must learn to read... Quote
Blatman Posted September 30, 2004 Posted September 30, 2004 It was the Gallant estate with the fast bits bolted on. I quite like the Gallant Estate.... says it all really Quote

BEN99W Posted September 30, 2004 Posted September 30, 2004 If you absolutely mustn't have front wheel drive, then your options are: Alpina B3S Touring (used) Audi S4 Avant (Used) Audi RS4 Avant (Used) Audi RS2 Avant (used) beware many were nicked and used in bank jobs! AUdi RS6 still well out of your budget. BMW 3 or 5 series touring - Take your pick Lexus IS 300 Sportcross (used) Mazda6 Sport AWD (New £20K) Merc C32 AMG (used) Merc E55 AMG out of budget MG ZTT 260 V8 (used) Subaru Forrester XT (Used ) Try one! Subaru Legacy 3.0R (Used) Volvo V70R AWD (used) But you really should try a Skoda Octavia vRS used at £10K. its front wheel drive but still bl**** good fun and if you really want to it chips easily although actually produces in excess of its quoted 180bhp from the factory. I think that about covers it Quote
Boxerman33 Posted September 30, 2004 Posted September 30, 2004 Didn't someone once do a Jaguar XJS estate Quote
chairemangeezer Posted September 30, 2004 Posted September 30, 2004 Subaru Legacy gtb 4x4 twin turbo import 280 bhp standard and can be chipped to do more Should get 2-3 year old one with low miles for 15k, Pete Quote
BEN99W Posted September 30, 2004 Posted September 30, 2004 Skoda do a 4wd version IIRC They do a 4x4, but not a vRS version they don't. Quote

Camel_Landy Posted September 30, 2004 Posted September 30, 2004 Didn't someone once do a Jauguar XJS estate Yep.... It was Lynx. You also used to be able to get Aston to make an estate version of their cars..... My money would be on the Legacy or an Audi RS. Mark. Quote
