Dave Posted July 5, 2003 Share Posted July 5, 2003 If you car is an early model, the top ball joint is a drag link from A Ford transit ( one of them whit things that pass you like your going backwards) Ap lockheed part no TA 298 or R06GK dont let thenm give you a right & left pair as one side dont fit. bottom ball joint is from a cortina. Blatman Posted July 6, 2003 Share Posted July 6, 2003 Bottom ball joints depend on age of car. Fixed to wishbones with four bolts = Cortina 3/4/5. Fixed to wishbones with two bolts = Maxi. Check prices from the factory, 'cos they were competitive for these items. Also search our user S8ght, 'cos I believe he can supply ball joints etc at just about trade prices......
