Guest Posted August 23, 2004 Posted August 23, 2004 I was caning a rental car up the motorway south of Madrid a couple of weeks ago. We spotted a large car coming up fast in the mirror. Turned out to be a fully loaded Mercedes hearse that went past at well over the 140 kph that I was managing. don't be late! John Quote
Mark Purves Posted August 23, 2004 Posted August 23, 2004 Had the same happen to me on M40 many years ago then several miles later he had been pulled over by Plod. By the way he was loaded. Quote

worzel Posted August 23, 2004 Posted August 23, 2004 There were five of us in my old 850cc mini To get us all home, I was thrashing the nuts out the old dear, and in my mirror I saw a pair of headlights getting closer and closer. Eventually the car behind overtook me, and to our amusement (and my embarressment) .... ....it was a three wheeled Robin Reliant Quote

We too were overtaken by a Robin who left us for dead My excuse is that I wasnt in a hurry and he obviously knew the roads better than I did Quote
