On Line Racing

Has anyone tried On Line racing.

Which ones are recommended (if any). Is broadband required.

Just load GP4 which seems very difficult.

(Obviously I'd rather drive the Westfield but it might rain)

Assuming you're the next Schumacher. It's an incredibly difficult game (or is it just me?).

....yes, if you're racing against the AI cars.

...not quite as much, if you're racing against other humans. I consistently come near the back, including a few crashes unfortunately, but that's without playing a lot (once a month, if I'm lucky) and without altering the standard setup (where, I guess, there must reside seconds per lap). In that sense, it's much like the real thing...err, except it's much cheaper, you don't die or get maimed and it's not as exciting.

No, it's not just you Andy, GPL is a game which demands lots of practice and patience in order to compete. I managed to dedicate quite a bit of time to it a year or so ago and started to really make progress on my handicap (GPL Rank).

However, as was mentioned, the best fun is had online, although I haven't touched a driving sim since buying my Seven!  :D
