The Pope has a very important appointment and summons his chauffer.

Pope."I have to be at St Benedict's in 1hr."

Driver " Ok it will only take 35 minutes."

Pope " I would like to drive. You sit in the back and relax"

Driver " No I'm on strict instructions not to let you drive. I'd lose my

job"

Pope " Oh go on. I'll be very careful, and anyway I'm the Pope and the

boss."

Driver " alright but only if you drive very carefully"

So the Pope dons the chauffeurs hat and the chauffer gets in the back and

off they set.

Very soon the Pope gets the urge and puts his foot down. 50mph, 60mph 70mph.

"slow down" says the chauffer but to no avail. 80mph 90mph 100mph.

Then a speed cop overtakes and pulls them up.

When he see's whose driving he gets on the radio to his boss

Cop " I've pulled a car doing 100mph through the city but there's a very

important person in it. What should I do"

Boss "Arrest them"

Cop "but HE is a VERY important person"

Boss " Is it the Mayor"

Cop " No more important than him."

Boss " The Prime Minister then"

Cop " No even more important"

Boss "Who then"

Cop "It's God."

Boss " GOD!! What makes you think that"

Cop " Well it must be God because he's in the back and the Pope is driving

and wearing a chauffeurs hat."
