moomin Posted June 17, 2003 Share Posted June 17, 2003 Some thoughts: - get Westfield to not fit the intertia reel mount turrets to the chassis and another bits of tat you don't need for your spec. - surprised no one has mentioned the roll bar, have the RAC bar welded in and seriously consider the forward brace if you are doing solo trackdays (or even a full cage, but Westfield probably won't do this for you) - go for the plain GRP race shell seats with 6pt FIA (3" straps & aircraft buckle) harnesses, fully stripped out interior - have all the GRP bodywork as thin as you can persuade them to make it - get the lightest wheels and tyres you can stretch your budget and useage to! - don't bother with reverse ( and good luck talking Westfield into that one! ) - build it yourself, you know it makes sense moom.
