Hi Simon,

Yes it is thanks :)

We both hope very much that it goes to a good home.  I don't know whether we should keep it but it would only sit there & rot, at least this way it will be used (hopefully).

Anyone got a Porsche engine

very nice.. puts my 68 1300 to shame.

althought its only done 90k miles on original engine and gearbox.

Dad now uses it as his everyday work car (untill he gets something more appropriate to a 55 year old that is!!  )

good luck, i know how hard it i sto part with that kind of thing.. thats why mine has been through the sit there and rot scenario that you are worried about :(

Looks nice Mike, good original spec (well except for the disc brakes and the Empis  ) would have thought that would sell no probs.

The new Hot 1500 also had front disc brakes. This ment more powerful, smoother braking and the discs had the advantage of not being affected by water. As well as being discs, the brakes and wheels of the 1500 were four-bolt instead of five-bolt wheels fitted to 1200 and 1300 models. Hubcaps of the '67 1500 were one-year-one-model only!

i didnt realise they introduced them till the curved screen car.
