Hi, well it's a gearbox question really - what flywheel can I use when using a 1.8cvh with an MT75 gearbox and Cossie clutch?

Cheers,

Ben

I reckon a CVH one. Late Sierra 1.8's were fitted with MT75's and CVH's, so a complete standard clutch set from that car should fit and work. I have no idea why you would want a Cosworth clutch ??? Cosworth's use a completely different flywheel and gearbox (a T5), and whilst the T5 may well be "interchangable" with the MT75, it's a sure bet that things like the release bearing and covers are going to be different, to say nothing of the various thicknesses of the plate and cover...

The cossie 4x4 box in the sierra and 'scort were based on the mt75 i think, although the flywheels are identical except the 2wd one is lighter.....

Best just get a standard cvh one....
