Excellent Road and Trackday engine or Sunday afternoon drives – always reliable – purchased crated and brand new in 1989 and only completed around 15,000 miles since (honest) – always run on Mobil 1. Treated with plenty of TLC and very regular oil changes. This is not a reconditioned engine and has never seen the inside of a Fiesta or Escort. All components were purchased brand new for build, no second hand or re-con used anywhere. Package includes – coil, distributor, alternator and heat shield, exhaust manifold, matched and jetted twin 40 DCOE’s on inlet manifold with K&N filters, Omex rev limiter, shallowed and baffled sump, complete clutch assembly – everything to get you driving. Drop it in, bolt up and away you go. The engine head has been ported by Ferriday Engineering with solid lifters and Piper FS285 camshaft fitted – will quite easily rev to 7000 – at home on road and track – a very tractable and driveable set-up. Inlet manifold and head have been matched. My 1600 CVH Rolling Road Printout Everything all yours for - £950.00 – buyer collects. Stainless steel exhaust manifold to suit Zetec (1800 or 2000) = £120 brand new never used - Manifold SOLD subject to collection and exchange of folding Powder coated RAC type roll bar to suit Sei Wide with integral welded in-place rear struts = £120.00 brand new never used.
