adhawkins Posted June 7, 2003 Share Posted June 7, 2003 Hi all, Recently I've noticed a worrying (to me! ) noise (either a 'knock' or a 'whine' from my Zetec at idle. After a bit more investigation it appeared to disappear when I dip the clutch, so I did a search on here for 'clutch and noise' and found lots of posts telling me it was normal, and probably nothing to worry about. I'll have a check for anything obvious (the car had a new clutch 6 months ago, so should be fine) but basically I can now stop worrying too much about it. Thanks all!
