Old Warden Aerodrome (Shuttleworth Collection)

This might be something to consider for next spring/ summer for members within easy reach of the Shuttleworth Aircraft Collection in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire.

The venue is inviting car clubs to have an area to meet up in on the airfield at both event and non-event days.

I've been there on a number of occasions for predominantly air shows (including the fantastic 'race day').

It's a fantastic relaxed venue with plenty of vintage aircraft (the majority of which are airworthy), the lovely smell of burnt caster oil, lots of parking and a great cafe.

Obviously there's no need to book for just turning up with your Westfield (parking in the general carpark), but if there's enough interest we could make it a little more formal and park closer 'to the action' by pre-booking.

Would there be any interest? We are a little under-represented for events in this part (Hertfordshire) of the UK.
