DIY-Si Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago I couldn't talk to them too much more at the time, as they were busy trying to get the cars detailed and ready for the day. I'll have to see if they're feeling any less tight-lipped in a bit. Quote
Matt_S Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago @DIY-Si Are both cars the same? The green one is left hand drive 🧐 Quote
Greenstreak-Andy D Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Like the wheels, anyone know source? see they still use that monster side repeater on the front cycle wings Quote

LoneWolf Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Some more info about the engines... Anyone of you guys there can crack that bonnet open please? 🤣 2 Quote
MattV Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Any word on pricing? In a world where an M3 now costs £100k and you can spend £65k + on a Cateringvan, it will be interesting to see how much these are pitched at. That interior is gorgeous and certainly makes it look classy and expensive, and those seats are 🥰 Quote

Na and econoboost nos Their custom produced engine could well be a duratec with custom manifolds and cams. Maybe a bit of porting. That's not a criticism, by the way, it'd be a sensible way to do it. DIY-Si Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I couldn't take too many really close up photos, but the "custom-built for us" engine is based on a 2L Duratec, unless I'm mistaken? I don't know who the tuner is, as the chap I was speaking to wouldn't say. Which is fair enough from my point of view. The new XI is reported as being 25% done, and is currently off being dressed in its aluminium body! It very much sounds like Westfield are looking at going up market...... No idea on pricing as yet. 3 Quote
