New Stoneleigh Show 2026- The Replica and self build Festival

The guy behind this has form in producing good shows and to be honest relying on just kit cars now is not the best idea.

 

The Malvern show I thought was poor missing many of the names you would want to be there but who knows why that might be.

 

The old Complete Kit Car magazine is now renamed as Complete Car Builder to broaden the appeal so this show might be the way forward.

 

I agree the site at Malvern is better in so many ways but Stoneleigh is more central and has larger undercover space if needed.  time will tell

You can't beat Malvern in my eyes. It's well  worth the trip in our cars and the views are fantastic.

Malvern is better purely due to having working toilets and showers. Stoneleigh was like going to the 3rd world. 
 

However stoneleigh does/did have that great cafe for breakfasts

Is it a rival show? I personally never wanted malvern location as the distance is not kind to anyone in the north. It automatically excluded most of the country.

It's being organised by someone different so I guess it could be. They have listed some manufacturers who are going so it made me wonder if they would still do both.

They didn't likely move through choice. Have you been to either of the Malvern shows @tex ?

 

I doubt they did it to 'exclude most of the country'. If they'd moved to the Isle of Wight or the Shetlands, I'd support your view!

Can't recall the name but there is a more northern big kit car show later in the year after Malvern isn't there?

From Manchester it's all of 17 miles further to Malvern than Stoneleigh.....

For me distance isn’t a problem just consider it a road trip and enjoy your car!

I have done a lot of showgrounds in my life for various things.  I have to say that when the sun is shining you can't beat Malvern. It's clean, well run and darn Beautiful.

Yea, I know they didn't move through choice, but their choice could have been in the centre of the country! It added an hour to the drive! 

Stoneleigh is the shorter of the x2 screenshots. The showground selected moved further to the south/West.. Making a day journey impossible now. It was just possible previously.
