As @Rednop1has  said above great spec car and worth every penny being asked. If this was a CateringVan would be 25k. And has a recent new chassis to boot👍

Not listed elsewhere yet. Didn’t fancy the random tyre kicking brigade round me house. Off to the Ring for a week then I’ll get my finger out. Thanks for all the positive comments 👍

Can you confirm was it a Westfield factory replacement chassis ?

I have no way to confirm this sorry. The repair was done by a forum member Steve D who used to run Winsford Body Shop

It’s a shame if the cat marker puts people off

There is still people that despite buying a kit car will discard q plates (coz someone once said it and now looks like you know your **** if you put no q plates)... And then they come crying that their throttled bodied kit car will melt cats and will not pass emissions. Go and figure if they see the cat marker.

The car is absolutely lovely and with this engine is only a set of pistons/rods away to be on the 265hp region. A cheap racecar project, a perfect sunday driver as it is.

I still miss the absolutely brutal delivery of my old sbd redtop and every time i see one of those for sale i want it. Sadly i cant

Good luck with the sale!!

Steve was as mad as a box of frogs and par excellence at creating havoc in multiple directions through the forums but he knew his beans and repaired to a high standard.

Just abit of a heads up too anybody thinking of purchasing this car .

I went and viewed the car over the weekend as i fancied a redtop to roll around in for a couple of months and to drive down to malvern kit car show next weekend.

Its not a bad little car yes its been damaged and there are of course a couple of areas  that show this front flared side panels are a slighty different colour orange and the body has a couple of spider cracks that have been sprayed over and still show but i could live with that

But and this is a VERY BIG BUT  the chassis has been complete changed and the replacement  chassis that has been used doesnt have the correct chassis number stamping

This is not something i want to get into a debate over the reason for my post is that i would hate a member who is interested in the car traveling long distance with a view to buying the car and then finding the problem or a new member who is abit green not spotting the problem and then finding the problem at a later date .

Ash, do you mean the VIN number stamped into the chassis? Or is there more stamping that I've not spotted on my car yet?
