I may have a spare weekend adult ticket for this.  I have a show car ticket (which comes with 2 adult tickets) and I have a free child’s ticket for my son.  As there is only two of us coming I may have a spare adults ticket if needed…

Do you guys tend to leave your cars in the circuit overnight or drive them into woodlands?

Most years I’ve been, we’ve driven into the circuit on the Friday morning, (having arrived Thursday evening or afternoon) and left them there for the duration. It’s much easier - there can be some big queues to get into the circuit in the mornings.

Though as I’ve often left around noon on the Sunday, rather than the full day, I’ve usually taken the car out on the Saturday and kept it at the camp till I leave.

Woodlands campsite has normally had a regular shuttle service that circulates the site - it’s a big site, which you can hop on, that takes you to and from the big carpark opposite the circuit, where the busses into and round the circuit run from. So it’s dead easy getting into and out of the track. They run well into the evening as well, for the evening festival type events.

PS, don’t do what I stupidly did one year, and leave your personal admission ticket in the car, with the car admission ticket!

You will need it to get back in to the circuit! But you’ll also need it to use the free bus service. (Thank goodness I had enough info on me and was in a big group of other Westfield owners on the infield, they took pity on me and let me on the bus!)

oh, and when I was leaving the infield at the end of the day, all I did, and others often did similar, is put my tonneau cover on, and leave it like that overnight. Some put roofs up if they had them.

If rain was expected overnight, we have often put things like shower caps on too.

If only I had a roof or tonneau…

You’ll see plenty of open cars left open too!

Just make sure if there’s is anything left in there, it’s well tucked away, not valuable, and not likely to get blown out of the car or anything overnight, the circuit is a big open place, so does occasionally get windy.

I always found that removing carpets and drilling holes in the floor was the best option 🤣
