Must admit I hadn't kept up with the current situation - I was just about to subscribe to the paper copy but the latest edition just arrived on the doormat - so do I subscribe now or wait until the next one is due?

Hiya Paul. I am only guessing but my hunch is you will continue to receive paper copies until your membership is due for renewal, from then on you will only get the digital version, so I'd say sign up for the paper ones for £18 on your next membership renewal?  That's my plan anyway mate.

My understanding is that this was the last hard copy you will receive unless you take out the additional membership.

Thanks - just read the Chairman's Chat and I think that's correct, to get any more paper copies I need to buy the subscription. 

 

I renewed my CKC magazine subscription recently and due to a fault with their system I ended up getting another copy of the last edition as my first edition with the renewal. Thought I might end up making the same mistake here.

I'm surprised at that given that the membership fee we have already paid includes hard copies. I guess they have to draw a line somewhere though. I can see the printed copy disappearing in time tbh.

Although this is a new situation, I’m confident that buying a subscription now won’t be an issue.  The mailing list is generated about 3 weeks before the magazines are posted, plus the new mailing list will be able to show expiration dates if anything goes wrong.

me too, I spend 40 hours a week staring at two computer screens and enjoy a break from it !

I'm the opposite. Don't use a computer at work, have an old laptop that I only use for the Westfield World article. Do everything on my phone, so it's too small to read magazines on.
