Im with sureterm 23 with 4 yrs NCB on main car, 91 SEiW 2.0 16v XE, valued at 10k £320. Not too bad at all. I cant understand it at all my everyday car has 4 yrs NCB on it, ive never had an accident and its £760. No where near as quick as the westy either (so I've heard)

Be careful if you deal with Adrian Flux, especially if you intend to use a credit card to pay.

I had a bad experience with them in the past....

Langy

There is (or at least was) a useful list of willing insurers on www.totalkitcar.com

I started at the top and rang them. Some were remarkably competitive.

With Flux's renewal notice in my hand (£177.50 plus £13.00 Personal accident = £190.50),I thought i'd shop around - first port of call was Roadsure,as they seem to show up well with peeps on the forum. It turned out to be the only phone call I'd make - after the usual questions,I was given a quote of £137.13 all inc !!!!!!!!!!!!!! - this is on a 1989 SEi with a fast road tuned 2 ltr FIAT twin cam with 140 brake @ the wheels!

Fully comp @ £7000 - £100 excess ltd to 3000  miles.

Quote me happy - Nah - I'm bl**** ecstatic !!!

Sean

Are you selling the Quantum in favour of a Westy  ???

Is it difficult for you to keep up with us on club runs?  :p

FWIW I'm with Sureterm (they are at Huntingdon, so local) £177 fully comp, inc. breakdown cover, 38 years young, garaged, 3000 miles, agreed valuation, Cambs postcode...I'm happy  :D

Not at the moment, I'm enjoying the 'exclusiveness' of the Xtreme   but who knows what might happen in the future ;)

What you trying to say about Pinto power ?? it may be on the heavy side, but it'll do it's best to keep up with the Westy's  ;)
