Dracoro
For those with 2.0L VX engines. What mpg do you typically get and what tyre pressures are suitable? IIRC, I'm on 215 x 16 and the original owner said 25psi (I think!. Does this sound about right?
Blatman
Nope. I'd start off with around 20psi, and experiment. My injected Vx does about 25-30mpg round town, close to 40 on a run, dropping to around 10-12 on a track day........
Arm
Sounds about right. Could get from my house to Paul Eddens on the 1 gallon fuel tank and thats 37 miles. Now with the long range 2 gallon tank I can get home also ! Oh and the tyre pressures are 18 front and 17 rear.
stu999
Carbs or fuel injection? You will need to compare like for like before making judgement.... My carbed VX on a steady motorway run will see low 30's, and consumption goes downhill from there according to the level of noise desired
