I would hazard a guess it cost c******m less than Westfield to buy the bits, due to the fact they sell/ make more cars.

I know c******m spent a shed load of money trying to get the 21 into the GT class.

They also spend a lot of money on racing.

I think the real reason is c******m have a customer services, and Westfield......... don't.

Hence the cheeper price.

:cool: Westfield develop a fully independent rear suspension

:devil: Caterhum look at it and decide its unnecessarily complex and has more opportunities for incorrectly setting up so they stick with the simple but effective De-dion system. After all, people race these things and it doesnt seem to give them too many problems.

BTW - Jan, I understand that replacing parts damaged in racing 'incidents' is a big part of Caterhums income

Could be down to the fact that they have spun due to the poor rear suspeneion :devil:  :p
