Jan Coombes
I would hazard a guess it cost c******m less than Westfield to buy the bits, due to the fact they sell/ make more cars. I know c******m spent a shed load of money trying to get the 21 into the GT class. They also spend a lot of money on racing. I think the real reason is c******m have a customer services, and Westfield......... don't. Hence the cheeper price.
CateringVan
ok, here goes then (lights blue touchpaper and stands well back) Westfield develop a fully independent rear suspension Caterhum look at it and decide its unnecessarily complex and has more opportunities for incorrectly setting up so they stick with the simple but effective De-dion system. After all, people race these things and it doesnt seem to give them too many problems. (sound of footsteps running for the door) BTW - Jan, I understand that replacing parts damaged in racing 'incidents' is a big part of Caterhums income
