Can the pedals go further down?

Have above hinge pedals (not floor mounted ones) and have noticed that there's more room further down the footwell that would still allow full pedal movement. So can the pedals be moved down? Is this a common mod or is it likely that the pedals can be moved like in a TVR?

Obviously I guess it'll depend on the way that my car has been set up(which I'll look at when it's light) but regardless if it can be done easily/cheaply then the extra few inches of leg-reach would be ideal.

Yep, they can be moved. The only consideration is the length of the pipe to the rear brake circuit. If it's a solid pipe, it'll need re-bending a bit, assuming it's actually long enough.

The front pipe will need similar attention, but at least you don't run the risk of running out of length..........

Cool. I'll have a good look in the light.

Is it an easy quick job to move the pedals or do I have to start taking things apart?

Depends on your definition of easy and quick, I suppose........

It's not especially hard, and shouldn't take too long, but it's no 5 minute-er.....
