I am sure I have read this on a previous topic but I cant find anything on the search engine :durr:  What's the best method of cleaning a second-hand pair of Weber/Dellorto carbs :t-up:

Externally for max visual effect ali/brass :blush:

I believe Halfrauds sell an ally cleaning solution.   How good or bad it is I wouldn't know, but it is apparently acid based.

Sounds like Wonder Wheels. It's an alloy wheel cleaner that's acid based. Might work......

I've bought before some STP carb cleaner,got rid of all the gunk and smelt good too!!!.As Stu says,they don't polish up that well,unless you have time on your hands and a dremel type kit,but then you'll always have to do it rather than drive it.
