Westfield tire size & offset question

Lotus7racer

Recommended Posts

I will buy a custom wheels to this company

  http://www.kodiakracingwheels.com/

I like to use a wide 13 inch tire in the rear

   and small in the front.

I plan to use Kumho tire ECSTA V700 235/45VR 13

at the rear and  205 in the front.

http://www.kumhomotorsports.com/products/index.htm

Questions:

1.   If I will custom a wheels, what will be the wheel offset at

       the rear?

2.   Can I use 235/45 tire size to Westfield ?

         (approx 9 inches wide)

Thanks

How much power have you got?

Unless you've got monster power 250+ I wouldn't bother.

You can fit wide rubber like this if you get the wide rear arches (wider than standard SEiW) assuming that you have detachable arches, other wise your looking at cutting & filling & a paint job.

I'd have thought the 215/50VR13 would be more appropriate, although these tyres may be better suited to heavyer cars, you might be better off with A032's or A048's

andy ;)

Max baxk space you can get away with at the rear of a SEiW is 5" which is 0 offset on a 9" rim

I will be putting between 350 to 370hp (turbocharged Busa)

So, I cannot use 235/45/13  in the rear?

So what is the most size (maximum)I can use?

.....and also can someone tell me the offset measurement I can use to  a wide wheels.

Thanks
