Beechy89 Posted January 22 Share Posted January 22 Hello all, I am urgently trying to source AVON ZZS 215/55 R13 88v tyres - and am in need of 2. I have searched however no one seems to have these in stock anywhere. I have attempted with demon tweeks - but they don’t have road legal slicks in stock (88v). Beechy89 Posted January 23 Author Share Posted January 23 Thanks for the reply! I spoke to a Caterham specialist where I also enquired on tyres. He has told me they have also been left in the dark, however looks like Toyo will be the new supplier taken on from Avon but no news yet on when these will be available. Demon Tweeks apparently typically buy up all of the stock available as their previous main supplier. I'm due to take my car to Northampton Motorsport (where they are going to do the MOT). I'm hoping they might have some ghost wheels to put on my car if so... apparently this is something that the Caterham specialist would typically do in this instance - as my tyres aren't low yet. I'm a bit gutted as I like the look of the tyres with my wheel fitment with a thicker sidewall. So i'm unsure at this moment in time what the alternative might be for a semi-slick road legal tyre! 😔 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
