New member, new car, new issues!

Good afternoon, I am a new member with a Westfield Sport 250, purchased yesterday and absolutely love it! I am based near Scunthorpe, is there anyone out there living nearby? I am having issues with the dash, mph and miles covered are not working, it is an AIM dash? Any advice? Looking forward to meeting some of you in the near future!

What colour is the car and was it built in Norfolk? (Red?).

Hello. Can’t help with your current issue but I am relatively local (just north of Woodhall). I regularly go on the Peak District trips out so keep an eye on the out and about section of the forum. Looking forward to meeting you.

Excellent, I’ll do that straight away. Yes it’s red and believe it was built in Norfolk. Do you know the car?

The speed/mileage is probably something simple (speed sensor needs adjustment or a dodgy electrical connection) but the tech gurus on here will soon help you 👍

I'd say the sensor on the upright has moved 

But there is a big nasty loophole in the aim software in which you can switch the recorded mileage off which i told Aim  and Westfield about because its an instant iva fail and you shouldnt beable to do it but Aim and Westfield were not bothered in the slightest when i told them about it 

 

Give me a set of stack gauges anyday

Good to have a knowledable Sport 250 builder in the thread, @Rednop1 👏

 

If it's the car, I think it is. It's passed IVA so it did work at one point. @Nomad viewed the car and I'm 99% sure he drove it, so should be able to advise if it worked then.

Same issue for me omn my Race Technology Dash2. Proximity of the wheels speed sensor to the bolt heds it senses looks OK, so I'll be following this thread with interest to see if anything not specific to the dash is suggested.
