Weirdest Westfield 11 question this year? swap/trade a pre-93 registered 11 for a brand new 2023 registered

Morning brains trust-from Australia!

 

Ok-should have quadrupled checked.........

 

I have purchased Richards as new 2023 registered 11 with just 100 miles on it with intention of bringing down to Aus. Seems that the car needs to be period registered to get it imported for road use and to get complied for CAMS racing use may be prohibitive.

 

So......just wondering if anyone may have an interest in swapping/trading a pre-93 registered 11 for a brand new 2023 registered one?

My son recently (last four years anyway) imported his UK registered BMW Z4M Coupé into NSW. Not the same as your problem I realise, but he did discover that importing into Tasmania was a lot easier than into NSW - not that he did it that way in the end. Transferring the car to NSW from Tasmania might be a matter of getting a ferry! Worth a look at least. Equally, he found that 'specialist' cars of which few are available in Australia are treated differently. My own knowledge is sketchy but I thought it might be something you hadn't discovered.
