Nice, a Westfield GTI, what Tartan is it?

Ah, now you're a man after my own heart .. I wonder how long it'd be before someone picked up on the MkI GTI 'homage'! 😁 It's the Hunting Robertson Ancient tartan. I used 2m of lightweight (8oz) 100% wool 👍

Ah... well done it looks a first class job. That's the best thing about Westy's you can modify them as much as you want and make them your own

The wife's asking, do you make cushions?  :d:d

Look what I've just done .. starting early on my winter projects! It won't be everyone's cup of tea, and it isn't the first time seats have been tartanised in a car! 😁

I'm afraid not, tell her. There was no 'making' as such when covering the pads.

While in the Scottish mode, what does the saying 'och aye the noo' mean?

It's "Oh yes, just now" but actually, nobody uses that phrase! It's a parody for people when mimicking Scots. They can and are often used separately, "Oh yes" and "Just now" but never together..

Don’t worry, it’s been done in a slightly less complicated way before…
