Pitched a tent.

Thirsty work in this weather.

@Murraymint can't believe I've not been over before this. Roads look great for a Westy.

Fixing a mate’s Audi A3 - he said a rear coil spring had gone, which is a doddle to replace. I said bring it over, I’ll sort that for you.

Turned out to be a front spring - and they are notoriously difficult requiring removal of upright from driveshaft and a few less than common tools 🙄

The springs on my A3 are pretty much a consumable - it seems like every year one needs done.  I don't know why; in my younger days it was pretty much unheard of.  I just pay the village garage to do it - they have it down pat now.

Corrosion is shocking on that Audi !

I've seen better condition steel on coastal railings.

It’s 18 yrs old, 90K miles and lives not too far from the coast, so not entirely unexpected 😁

Was out with some actual Westfields yesterday. Had a cracking run up to Hartside.

This one was at Derwent Reservoir

Nice 👍. Wish I could get out too, hopefully my new bracket turns up tomorrow in time for the forecast better weather.
